 Ata Sancak Acıpayam Tarım İşletmesi was established in Acıpayam (located at high urban areas of Denizli city, between Aegean and Mediterranean regions) in August 2005 by Ata Holding and Sancak Group in order to build and operate a dairy farm. The facility is built on a state land and leased from the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprise (TİGEM) for 30 years. The total ground area of the facility is 2.400 hectares. It is a good example of Public & Private Sector Partnerships that support local development and protect sustainable growth in the region. All cattle are imported from US and come from the Holstein race. With the new investments, Ata Sancak aims to have a herd of 7.000 cows with 3.500 dairy cattle in 2011 and 8.500 cows with 4.000 dairy cattle in 2012. |
